Born as a “spin off” of an historical Italian manufacturer, leader in the extrusion of thermoplastic tubing. Smart Protections started its manufacturing operations in March 2015 and moved to its current location in January 2016.
Smart Protections is a leading company in manufacturing high technical thermoplastic extrusion products & hydraulic protections.
The technical background, the built-in know-how acquired by Smart Protectionswith particular focus to quality, manufacturing capability and internal R&D testing lab, are some of the strengths of this “aged” startup.
Internal laboratory, computer aided tests and a real-time product and process control, assure the compliance with the main national and international standards, offering to the End Users the best available solutions to Customer’s requirements.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Commitment to research
SMART PROTECTIONS is equipped with an on-site laboratory. Our high-tech instruments and machines can perform testing on both raw materials and finished products, operating with procedures and instructions according to our quality system. We can also perform specific testing required by customers’ specifications. We can identify the type of polymer by DSC (Differential Scanner Calorimeter) and infra-red spectrography. Among the various testing that we can perform is the rheological characterization of raw materials and the burst pressure testing of tubing at different working termperatures. All testing results are registered and filed in our system so that we can consult and analyse them for full tracking of each production within a fully integrated quality system.
